The fifth annual Caroline Scott Harrison Day will be held from 3-5 pm on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the Oxford Community Arts Center, 10 South College Avenue, Oxford, Ohio 45056. An Oxford native, Caroline Scott was the wife of Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd President of the United States (1889-1893) and the daughter of John Witherspoon Scott, who was the founding president of Oxford Female Institute located in the historic building which now houses the Oxford Community Arts Center.
As we near the completion and installation of the recently commissioned bronze sculpture of Caroline Scott, we celebrate Caroline's life and accomplishments. Please join us to celebrate her life and accomplishments with a dedication of the sculpture, which will be placed on OCAC grounds.
