The sixth Caroline Scott Harrison Day will be held from 3-5 pm on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at the Oxford Community Arts Center, 10 South College Avenue, Oxford, Ohio 45056. An Oxford native, Caroline Scott was the wife of Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd President of the United States (1889-1893) and the daughter of John Witherspoon Scott, who was the founding president of Oxford Female Institute located in the historic building which now houses the Oxford Community Arts Center. She was the first President General of the National Daughters of the American Revolution. Please join us in honoring Caroline Scott Harrison’s life and accomplishments with the dedication of a recently commissioned life-size bronze statue by sculptor Jarrett Hawkins installed on OCAC grounds.
