A thriving arts sector of music, dance, theatre, festivals, and so on is an essential element of a healthy and vibrant Cincinnati, both economically and socially. In hundreds of conversations with people in the area, they told us that they particularly appreciate two benefits of the arts: First, the arts make neighborhoods exciting and vital - they create places where people like to visit, live, and work. The arts also connect people within and across neighborhoods, as they come together to share experiences. For these reasons, ArtsWave is committed to supporting the large and small organizations across the area that create a lively arts environment and the benefits that go with it.The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economicallyohio
