Text Box: The Oxford Community Arts Center daily receives more requests for space and programming than can be accommodated.  Your support can make the difference by providing: scholarships to children’s classes; further renovations of the Arts Center’s historic building; funds for continued operations including salaries, utility bills and maintenance costs.  Your contribution is vital! Now is the time to become involved.  Contributions come in many ways.  First, write a check!  Multiply your contribution by getting your company to match it.  Does your company provide sponsorships to area charitable organizations?  Let us know.  Does your company provide paid release time for you to volunteer for a community organization?  Have you been looking for a way to give back to your community by sharing your talents and skills?  Help bring the joys of theater, art, dance and music to your children and grandchildren.  Nurture your own creative spark.  Now is your opportunity! Planned Giving The most compelling task facing the arts is to endow the future. Arts organizations are the cultural legacy of our society, and endowments are the pathway to building capacity for arts organizations. Growing and leveraging the endowed assets of OCAC is essential to the health of the organization. Why do the arts need endowments? Endowments are a consistent source of operating revenue, especially in fluctuating economic environments. Endowments provide a means of increasing the operating budget of an organization at a rate that exceeds inflation. Endowment dollars provide a source of revenue for new projects and programs. Endowments promote financial stability and fiscal responsibility. Endowments create longevity and independence for charitable organizations The Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) is a nonprofit organization created to provide a simple, powerful, and highly personal approach to giving. We offer a variety of tools to help people achieve their charitable goals – and create lasting good work in their communities. A thriving arts sector of music, dance, theatre, festivals, and so on is an essential element of a healthy and vibrant Cincinnati, both economically and socially. In hundreds of conversations with people in the area, they told us that they particularly appreciate two benefits of the arts: First, the arts make neighborhoods exciting and vital - they create places where people like to visit, live, and work. The arts also connect people within and across neighborhoods, as they come together to share experiences.
