OXACT

The Oxford Area Community Theatre, serving Oxford and surrounding communities since 1980, is dedicated to providing the community with the highest quality amateur theatre possible. This group, from which many of OCAC’s original board members were drawn, also provided "seed" money, encouragement and a strong belief in our mission in those early days. Today, OxACT makes its home in the theater at OCAC and continues its strong support while producing quality community theater and mentoring the Oxford Youth Theater and the Oxford Cooperative Theater, two local children’s theater groups. Artists' Collaborative
The third floor of the Community Arts Center houses 24 studios for local artists. These artists have joined together to form the Artists’ Collaborative. The Collaborative is an affiliation of visual, literary and performing artists whose mission is to coordinate and promote the work of its members through open studios, exhibitions, performances, and other appropriate events. Their mission is to work cooperatively with the Oxford Community Arts Center and other arts organizations to promote community support of the arts. Several times a year, members of the Artists’ Collaborative join together with other local artists to present special Art Events at OCAC and throughout the community.
Des Fleurs Garden Club

While continuing to maintain and fund the first phase of the OCAC gardens, Des Fleurs Garden Club, with the generous support of Margarette Beckwith of Beckwith-Chapman Associates Landscape Architecture, began building a children’s garden in the spring of 2007. The Children's Garden at OCAC offers hands on gardening experience for children attending the annual Gardeneering Camp.
