2016 Oxford Kinetics Festival - Sunday, April 17th 2016
The Oxford Kinetics Festival is an annual, (currently) one-day community festival (see 2015 OKF, below). The initial OKF was called the Kinetic Sculpture Race and was part of the City of Oxford’s Bicentennial celebration in 2010, with a humble 40 participants…total. In 2014 there were over 2200 participants. There is varied programming, but the highlight of the OKF is still the Scramble, which is a race / parade / obstacle course / challenge of human-powered contraptions.
